Very comfortable remodeled detached granny flat with own veranda, kitchenette, and bathroom, smart T.V. in bedroom and lounge. Laundry and BBQ available. Unlimited WIFI. Close to UNI, hospitals, mall, and, CBD. We will make our selves available for any other needs you may require within reason. 2 min drive to Burnett river and 10 min drive to ocean at Bargara. Set on 3 acres with veggie patch and fruit trees. Off road secure parking for Van and vehicle available. There are many sites to visit and tours to do, Lady Musgrave Island, Mon Repos, the Sugar & Rum Tours and there are specialised nature, farm, food and industry tours in the area. Many are seasonally adjusted but Fran & Dave advise if needed. Multiple sporting Clubs and social clubs are in the area, golf, sailing, Lions, RSL, fishing, U3A, dance and crafts a great library and small art gallery. Surfing, SUP, diving & snorkeling areas nearby. We live in main house, and may have guests there also. We try to include most info in your Welcome folder but suggest open dialogue on any info you seek. We are longtime Airbnb users but this is our first host property. Mutual respect is expected. We are 5 minutes to every known basic essential for a comfortable stay whether 2 days or a few months. Well sited for a holiday or those working travellers or students passing regularly through Bundaberg. Escape the Southern cold for Winter. Public bus routes go from Sugarland Mall, 2 minutes drive from the property, to most areas like Bargara, Childers, Burnett Heads etc. Greyhound bus services the area, there are trains from Brisbane to Bundaberg and onwards north if wanted. Airport is 5 minutes with most flights to and from Brisbane. We have good taxi fleet, a limo service in town for special events and Uber. We also are willing to arrange to collect from trains, planes and bus if needed.
