The Coachouse

The Coachouse is situated in the countryside, 2 miles/3 km s from Ennis town, which is noted for its boutiques and wealth of traditional Irish music. It can accommodate 1, 2, 3 or 4 people. It has a comfortable lounge space with a stove, a dining area, a fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs has a double bedroom and a sleeping space, both with a king size bed. The Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, the Burren and the Wild Atlantic Way are less than an hour from the Coachouse. While the Coachouse is spacious, there is a cosy atmosphere created by the comfortable furniture and the warmth of the stove. Heating is provided by modern electric radiators. There is a fully equipped kitchen so that guests can cook as much or as little as they like. Basic breakfast foods- eg. tea, coffee, milk, juice, eggs and cereals- are provided for that first morning in order to help guests to settle in and feel at home. Towels and bed linen are provided. The entrance to the Coachouse is private. Guests have use of the entire space as well as access to a private outdoor area with high wooden fencing for privacy and garden furniture for their comfort. We provide a wealth of tourist information, walking maps and information about upcoming events in the area. I am very happy to help my guests plan their activities if they so wish. I enjoy sharing information about my own favourite walks, places and activities. The Coachouse is situated in the countryside so there is a good deal of farming in the surrounding area. There are some houses nearby, so we ask our guests to be conscious of their noise levels. Having said that, there has never been a complaint from neighbours - a tribute to the quality of our guests. While it is advisable to have your own transport, the bus and train station is located on this road, just 2miles/3 kilometres from the Coachouse. Buses depart hourly for Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. As the Coachouse is 2 miles/3 kilometres from the town of Ennis, private transport is essential. Parking is available, safe and free.
