The Cheesery

The Cheesery is a charming house, sleeping up to 10 people over 3 spacious bedrooms. Located in centre of of Chinley, it is perfect for visiting the village's pubs and cafés, and for walking in the Peak District. The house is above Chinley's Post Office and Cheese shop. The top floor consists of the family room and bedroom #2. The first floor contains the enormous living room with coal-burner, bedroom #3, and the bathroom. The ground floor features a fully-equipped kitchen with dining space, and a snug. We welcome dogs. A keybox is provided to let yourself in, but I'll be available to contact throughout your stay should you need help. A climb up Cracken Edge will reward you with wonderful views of the Peak District, or you can take an easier stroll through Chinley's nature reserve. The more ambitious can walk over Jacob's Ladder to Edale, then catch the train home. Closer to the house, there are two cafés and two award-winning pubs just a stone's throw away . Chinley is well-served with trains to Sheffield and Manchester, and buses to Buxton and Whaley Bridge. Car parking is available on the adjacent street.
