The Honey House

Creek Cottage Farm is a working organic orchard growing mainly persimmons set in the beautiful Bobin Valley. The 40-acre property, is the perfect getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the natural beauty that the area has to offer. Set away from the main residence, the “Honey House” is a private self-contained one-bedroom cottage complete with a new bathroom, queen sized bed, kitchen and lounge area. The cottage is a renovated dairy/honey extraction area (hence the name) and has a rustic charm thanks to the recycled and natural materials used in the renovation. A wood combustion heater keeps the whole cottage warm and cosy in winter. Some breakfast ingredients are supplied for our guests as well as other basic cooking ingredients. We are available to provide you with any advice or recommendations you may need during your stay, or we are happy to leave you to your privacy. Guests can request a tour of the farm to meet our many cows and chickens or stroll through our veggie garden. The property is situated on the Dingo Creek and the cottage is a short stroll to a swimming hole where platypus may be seen if you are very quiet. Guests can explore the local area with Ellenborough Falls and Wingham Brush a short drive away or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and detox from electronic media (there’s no mobile phone reception here).
