Charming with a totally private terrace

My home is in the foothills of the sacred mountain Canigou in the Conflent Valley. Rigarda is a Catalan village and I love it because it is quiet and peaceful, a complete escape. The area offers everything, history, med, mountains and the arts. The house is a quirky space. The three bedrooms are very well spaced out and all access the terrace. There are radiators in most rooms and an open fireplace so it is cosy in Winter months. You feel unaware of others there so everyone has privacy and their own bathroom. It is totally peaceful and quiet and not overlooked. On one side there is a communal garden and on the other side a barn. The house was once owned by the village artist and textile designer. Vinca is a 40 minute walk, where there is a train station and buses that are on the 1 € nerwork There is a BBQ area in Rigarda, a communal area, its very pretty by the river. The house is 40 minutes walk from Vinça lake which has a beach and café. The fortified Villefranche du Conflent is 20 minutes drive where you can get the famous petit train jeune up the mountain to the hot water spas and ski resorts. 40 minutes drive to Céret.
