The home is situated right in Accra in the American school neighborhood and is central to most tourist areas. It’s in a safe, well maintained neighborhood. The house, modern and newly built, is bright and airy, with floor to ceiling windows, green spaces, and every amenity including internet, TV, air conditioning and more. Relax there after a hectic day in the city. There is a caretaker on site. All Covid cleaning protocols observed and two days blocked between guests to ensure safety. Modern, bright, Glass, Parking, Airy are words that describe our place. Relax in the living room overlooking a green space, or have drinks out on the veranda. If this is a business trip, conduct your work from a spacious upstairs study and rest assured that there is a good wireless network. Hang your suits in beautiful wardrobes, with well appointed linens. Forget to bring toiletries? No problem. Shower or tub? You decide with our clean and modern bathrooms. Want to fix yourself a midnight snack? There is a large fully equipped kitchen available. Worried about location and security? This house is in a safe area with many security features including an electric fence the caretaker will operate. Parking? There is inside parking so your vehicle can remain with you at all times. In terms of amenities, there is always hot water, a back up generator if the lights go out, and fans and air conditioning. If you stay longer than a week, the price includes free weekly cleanings with linen changes. Location- this house is centrally located to the shops in Osu, the highway to the coastline, and most points of interest. If you want to rent our family ocean front beach house in Elmina/ cape coast let us know before you arrive. It is not listed. Guest can access all parts except a downstairs side room which is used for storage. I meet with guests and make myself available to help with sightseeing or to answer other questions they might have during their stay. If I am away, your host will be my trusted assistant Godfred, who knows Accra like the back of his hand, and can take you anywhere you want to go in his taxi. The neighborhood in the heart of Accra, centrally located so you can get to most places very quickly. Our home is in a well designed and maintained neighborhood with nice houses and safe streets called Achimota Forest or better known as Abelempke. For a landmark it is close to the American school (5 min walk) and an easy 10 minute taxi ride to Osu, the Airport and Airport city, and shopping. The neighborhood is walkable for early morning or evening strolls or jogs. Taxis are plentiful in Accra as are Ubers. It is worth noting that Uber vehicles are very small. My assistant also has a taxi business. Guests should note that there is a 6 night minimum stay requirement
