DANGAR ISLAND BEACH HOUSE
Our shack is situated right on Bradleys Beach. It is best suited for families and couples. We have a maximum 8 guests, a maximum of six can be adults. The house has three bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and own bathroom. There are also two portable single beds for kids. The living room has a tv (not that you will want to use it) , lounge and separate sitting area. The Boathouse bedroom sits right by the water and has its own lounge area. It's a rustic beach house. Come and relax...... Matt The house is a tranquil sanctuary to chill. It's not fussy, it's rustic but should have pretty much all you need. It's a true beach shack (not luxury) and we hope you love it as much as we do. The house is yours bar a couple of cupboards locked with our personal belongings. I won't be available in person but I have people on the island to come to the rescue should something go wrong you simply call me and I'll sort it out. Dangar Island has no cars so you don't have to worry about the kids. There is a great playground next to the Bowling club where parents can enjoy a delicious meal or a drink or both whilst the kids run free within eye shot. You can grab the papers and coffee or even breakfast at the local cafe which doubles as a corner shop for emergency supplies. There is a lovely walk around the island so you feel like you have deserved that afternoon aperitif. If you arrive via train, the ferries coincide with the timetable but always check. The station is called 'Hawkesbury River' and trains run from Sydney's Central Station. If you drive there is a large car park next to the Hawkesbury River Marina, follow the signs. There is a wheelbarrow at the ferry wharf to help with your bags. The Ferry timetable can be found via a website that I'm not allowed to give you. Missed the ferry? Call Hawkesbury Water Taxi on a number I can't provide due to a stupid airbnb rule.
