Bed and breakfast set on a working farm close to the Wrexham Industrial Estate and town centre. Within easy reach the Roman city of Chester, Chester Business Park, National Trust properties, beautiful countryside and North Wales coast. A peaceful and calm retreat after a busy day. Traditional farmhouse with large comfortable rooms, set on a working sheep, beef and arable farm, surrounded by lovely countryside. Wake up to beautiful views of sheep grazing in the fields surrounding the house. The accommodation is at the front of the house approached through the garden to the front door. We provide a lovely sitting room for your own use with comfy sofas, TV, drinks and log fire in the winter. We are on site and available if you need anything but will not infringe on your privacy if you prefer. Home cooked full Welsh breakfast, continental breakfast and evening meal is available on request, payable locally. Guests will be provided with their own key to a separate entrance door at the front of the house which gives them access to the guest sitting room, their own bedroom and bathroom. We are available to help with any information you may need regarding eating out locally or anything else, but will keep out of your way unless needed. Great location - A couple of miles from Wrexham town centre. We are situated close to the Cheshire/Shropshire borders being 20 minutes from Chester, 30 minutes from Llangollen, 45 minutes from Shrewsbury, less than an hour from Liverpool and Manchester Airports. Beautiful walking area with the Sandstone Trail, North Wales with its wonderful coastal path and even the Peak District all within 2 hours, and mountain biking at the nearby One Planet Adventure at Llandegla. We can also provide secure storage for bicycles. There are many places of interest nearby including the Roman City of Chester with it's great shops, Storyhouse which is a fabulous new theatre, cinema and library complex, Cathedral, the Tudor 'Rows', racecourse, Zoo renowned for it's wonderful conservation work, everything you need for a great day out. There are also National Trust properties nearby, Erdigg and Chirk Castle, Snowdonia National Park is within an hours drive. Great location for exploring North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire. We are a little bit off the beaten track so don't have access to public transport but do have plenty of parking available. A taxi from the railway station costs around £7.50 We live in the main part of the house but will keep out of your way unless needed.
