This beautiful guest suite was remodelled in 2021, with two bedrooms, an open planned living/kitchen area, and a separate bathroom. This property is on a slope to the water's edge, with access to the Derwent River's foreshore. Double glazed windows with insulated walls and ceiling for both sound reduction and temperature control. The living area & Master Bedroom both have uninterrupted and expansive views of the Derwent River, Mt Wellington, and the Southern Ranges. The far shoreline township lights up at night to provide a beautiful view both day and night. Very spacious master bedroom with quality Queen Sized bed, with woollen underlay, electric blanket, quality sheets, warm doona, and fancy bed throw. Small 2nd bedroom with man-sized Sofa Bed for one person. This bed is topped with a thick foam mattress, electric blanket, quality sheets, warm doona, and fancy bed throw. Both beds have extra pillows, their own reading lamps, and bedside tables. A fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge freezer, and various electrical cooking appliances. Dining table & chairs. Plus two coffee tables with two chairs or a two-seater sofa. The bathroom has thick towels, a hairdryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and various essentials for your comfort. A fully equipped laundry is located next to your apartment. Outdoor clothesline or indoor clothes dryer plus iron, laundry tub, and front load washing machine. Washing liquids are supplied. To make it easy for you, I provide bathroom essentials, household cleaning products, and kitchen essentials to supplement your own supplies. HD Smart TV & Free unlimited use of high-speed WIFI. Off-street parking for two cars is located outside your private and secure entrance. Driveway and large parking bay are fitted with LED sensor lights to welcome you on a dark night. Public bus stops are very closely located on either side of the road or approx 15 metres walk. These local bus trips cover four different directions. To: Hobart City Centre, or large Shopping Centres at either Glenorchy, Rosny, or Bridgewater. This property is situated with easy direct access to major tourist routes: East Coast, the Midlands, Port Arthur, and Strahan. There is no need to drive through the busy city traffic to get to these popular tourist locations. 3pm access. Self-check-in. To access the apartment, go down the driveway to the car bay. Drop luggage via flat level access directly into your room. Driveway width is suitable for cars or small campervans. Plus a large off-street car bay for 2 or more guest vehicles. Once parked, you may need to do a three-point turn to drive "front on" back up the driveway. Sensor LED lights are located around the home that lights up the outside to facilitate access. Otago is a mature, quiet semi rural suburb of Hobart. Close to easy walking nature tracks. Many species of birds, and some wildlife. Very low density suburb that is very peaceful & beautifully maintained. Bus route is located on my road and stops outside of my property. Northgate shopping centre is 7mins by car with free 4hr parking . 15 mins drive to beautiful Coal Valley Wine Region and Richmond. 15 mins drive to Hobart CBD. 10 minutes to MONA museum and cafes. Situated at major tourist routes to East Coast, up north thru Midlands, SE to Port Arthur, or NW to Strahan without driving through Hobart CBD. Hobart and Tasmania is best travelled by car. All parking is free except in Hobart CBD where the sime undercover parking is free for the first 1.5 hrs. A Bus Stop is located outside the front of my house. Car parking is available on the property next to your abode. I live upstairs with two small dogs. My pets love people but fences restrict their access to you.
