Cozy Beach Retreat

The retreat is a spacious open plan living area seperate from the house. You have your own entrance to the retreat with the comfort of knowing you won't disturb anyone. It includes private bathroom, queen size bed, lounge (folds out into pull out sofa bed), mini bar fridge, Tv/DVD with Netflix and desk. Please note * retreat is spacious for 2 guests - less floor space for 4 guests. *If booking for 2 people - please advise if you need the second bed made up for the second guest. The retreat is a modern living space which is clean and beautifully presented. The space is best suited for 2 guests but will accommodate 4 at an extra cost of $12 per person. * Please keep in mind if 4 guests are staying with multiple luggage it will leave less floor space. So if you are a group of 4 wanting extra room, this space might not be right for you. The space is fully furnished with a queen sized bed (fitted with an electric blanket), lounge (which converts into a pullout sofa bed with built in pillows), hanging clothes rack, desk, coffee table, bar fridge, tea and coffee, kettle, TV (Netflix) and DVD. The private bathroom is modern with your own hot water system, so you can feel at ease that you won’t run out of hot water. All bathroom linen is supplied. A hairdryer and complimentary bathroom consumables (toothbrush, sewing kits, shower caps are located in the mirror cabinet. A drying rack is located out the front of the retreat to air-out bath towels and mat. Bath towels will be replaced every 3rd day. Opposite to the retreat is a spacious outdoor entertaining area complete with couch, flat screen tv, table and chairs. It’s a great space to sit back and relax after a long day of touring. Guests are welcome to cook in the spacious kitchen area. Feel free to eat your meals on the deck or in the kitchen area. I provide complimentary tea/coffee in the retreat. Guests are welcome to use ironing board, iron and washing machine, (located in open plan kitchen/dining area) in the main house. At the end of the street is the beautiful Largs North beach with boardwalk. Great for walking and bike riding. The local fish and chip/chicken shop, corner deli and 'Stir' cafe is just a short 2 min walk from my home. A short 15min walk along the boardwalk will take you straight to the Largs Pier pub! Great food and atmosphere! Many guests have enjoyed a delicious pub meals here! I have NO pets on this property. Guests have their own private access to the retreat through the garage. You will be provided with a garage remote and keys to retreat, back glass sliding door and screen door to the main house. Guests also have access to the open plan kitchen/ dining area and laundry (in the main house). Enjoy the private outdoor entertaining area too. We are a really chilled and easy going couple who love to meet new people. We are also very respectful of people’s privacy and space. We are more than happy to provide you with as much information as possible about the area, so feel free to chat to us! At the end of my street is a set of stairs that take you straight down to the beach and boardwalk. The beach is a 1min way away! There are a number of great pubs and cafes, all within walking distance. The famous historical Semaphore area is only a 30min walk along the beautiful beach boardwalk. During the school holidays the Semaphore carnival (located on the beach front) is in full swing. There is a bus stop right at the end of my street to take you where ever you would like to go! The train station is a 10min walk and will take you straight into the city. (30min train ride). Here you will find museums, shops and other attractions. Guests are free to park on the street right out the front of the house. I have hosted guests who work for the Submarine Corp, Fisheries Dept and SAPOL. The Police Academy is a 3min walk away.
