Zia Ada Turret - Cilento

Zia Ada Turret is located in the historic center of Acquavella, in fact these houses are made of stone to keep the architectural tradition of the past. The turret consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a kitchen with a spiral staircase and a fireplace, a small bathroom, a small terrace and a large terrace which enjoys a suggestive panorama with a view of the sea and of the Monte Stella. Zia Ada Turret is part of the project “Il paese delle vacanze – Acquavella”. “Il paese delle vacanze – Acquavella” is an idea that was born from the desire to revive the houses in which our grandfathers lived in order to rescue our origins. For this reason we created a new holiday experience where tourists can learn about our traditions and at the same time they can enjoy the wonders of Cilento. Acquavella is a small village with a population of 500 people that make their little town a place where friendship, peace and hospitality are the most important qualities. The village is located on a sunny hill which contributes to our beautiful climate, that is enjoyable throughout the year. From every point of Acquavella, you can stare at the blue sea, which is only a few kilometres away. You can also admire the green mountains which are easily accesible by a quick walk and they also are the perfect place to do sports. Acquavella is part of “Il Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano”, which boasts some of the most beautiful points of interest such as the Archaeological Park of Paestum or Elea-Velia, Pioppi, that is the world capital of the Mediterranean diet, Mont Gelbison that hosts an old sanctuary and many seaside locations like Palinuro, Camerota, Acciaroli and Castellabate.
