You can enjoy the true country cottage experience in comfort and style. Dogs are welcome - it is ideal for them with so local many places for walking. The cottage is family friendly or ideal for that quiet country retreat. With so many places to go to from the doorstep it is a super location for your holiday. Close to Coastal walks, beaches, golf course and woodland walks. Water sports can be enjoyed from here whether sea or lake based. As its 5 mins from A30 it is easy to access places all over Cornwall. As Hosts we live in the next cottage along the lane. This means we are happily available for any assistance required and you can easily knock on the door or send us a text message. We recognise some people want to enjoy privacy for their holiday so we maintain a discreet presence but are easily available if needed. On the rare occasion we are away we have a house manager who will support you with your stay. Pixie Cottage is close to so many places. There are a number of local pubs and eating places - The nearest being Trickys or the Robartes Arms. There are coffee shops and cafes by the sea - Portreath being our nearest which is a short 5 minute drive away. Both small corner shops and larger super markets are a short drive away. Tehidy Woods offers a number of woodland walks again less than 5 minutes away by car. Heartlands is a super playpark with Redriver Café and tin mining museum close by which is great for children. Pixie Cottage is one and a half miles from Redruth train station. Newquay airport is approximately a half hour drive away. We provide all bedding with Egyptian cotton sheets. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking equipment. Cleaning products are provided and tea, coffee and milk is available for your arrival. Towels are available at £5 per pack for a bath and hand towel. If you require groceries to be bought ready for your arrival this can be arranged.
