Basil Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, stylish lounge/dining, king sized comfy bed (that can be split into 2 singles) and a clean, modern bathroom. Your cottage opens onto a semi-private courtyard with your own screened-off area furnished with a table, chairs and parasol to enjoy a long French lunch with a glass of fabulous Loire wine. Relax by the heated swimming pool, or enjoy the extensive manor house garden where you can cook a BBQ, play petanque, relax and socialize. The large manor-house garden is equipped with BBQs and outdoor furniture, and a lovely heated swimming pool with loungers and parasols is open in the warmer months. Borrow our bikes and tootle along our country lanes to visit local wineries and castles. We live at Bumblebee Manor so will be here to welcome you and assist with anything that you need. We absolutely adore our rural French life and can't wait to share it with you. The Loire Valley is renowned for its 80+ castles that you can visit, more than 80 wine appellations, and as the food basket of France. We are in the Natural Park, with almost 200 different birds to see. We know you will love exploring this unique area of France. We are in rural France, so a car is essential.
