gîte " Art de vivre " in the Dordogne valley

this beautiful 3 stars gîte de France located in a quiet hamlet overlooking St Céré is fully equipped with great comfort. The swimming-pool (10mX5). All equipment for babies is provided. Animals are also welcome. There are games ( swings etc... a tennis table). The location is perfect as close to most great sites af the area such as Rocamadour or Padirac. The terrace overlooking the pool is pleasant for meals outside under the shade of the vine. I speak fluent English and honour my guests with a friendly welcome. According to the season they eat cherries, plums, figs or eggs The whole house is available, plus garage, cellar etc... the garden and the pool which is private for the hosts I live accross the road, so I'm a tourist advisor as well as a provider for lettuce cherries or eggs whenever I can ! There are 14 of us in the hamlet from all origins : French, Canadians, Welsh, Dutch, some artists ( painter and singer) and until last year writer Peter May lived here. The closest railway station is Bretenoux-Biars A car is necessary, the shops are 4 to 5 kms down in the valley. The reservations are for one week minimum or at least 4 days in Spring or Autumn
