Apartment Nostalgija, Benkovac

Welcome to our cozy apartment appropriately named Nostalgija! Beautifully decorated by someone who's got passion and an eye for details, we tried to tastefully combine the old interior, ornaments & our own heritage with modern amenities in retro style. This newly decorated apartment with a spacious yard and garden has free shaded parking, wifi and air conditioning. It can accommodate 4 persons + baby (we can provide a baby cot if needed). We are only 15-20 mins from nearest beaches in the area! It is an air-conditioned ground floor apartment situated near the town centre, yet it's tucked away to enjoy the peace and greenery. It consists of 1 bedroom with king-size bed and a make-up table, 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. Guests have access to fully-equipped kitchen, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a spacious sofa where 2 persons can sleep. We can also add a baby cot if needed. You will have a private entrance. Please note that my grandma sometimes stays on the upper floor, but the ceiling is soundproof so you won't hear a sound. There is a yard and a beautiful garden where guests are free to relax. Cars can also be parked in the yard. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a dish washer, oven... Pretty much everything one might need. There is also a washing machine which is, of course, free for you to use ;) At any time, one of my family members will be available to meet you and assist you with anything you might need. We are very flexible in general and I believe there won't be any communication problems. Located in quiet neighbourhood, the apartment Nostalgija is situated in Benkovac, a small town mostly known for its authentic and fresh local cuisine and for hosting the largest national village fair held on the 10th of every month, 12 months a year. Benkovac is only few kilometers away from the highway and less than 20 mins away from the sea. There are various festivals, especially in the summer season, including prisnac (cheese galette) competition, snail race (you can even eat them if you'd like!) and many other gastro events. Some of our regional specialties are lamb on a spit, prosciutto, many types of cheese... Our wines and fruit brandies are world-renowned. Additionally, Benkovac area is great for cyclists, history lovers, hunters... The nearest airport, Zadar Airport, is less than 30 mins away. Zadar is 35 mins away, Šibenik is 40 mins away. The nearest beaches in Biograd, Pakoštane and Karin Donji are only 20 mintues away! If you prefer natural sights, do not miss Krka National Park, Zrmanja River Canyon, mountain Velebit & Paklenica National Park, Vrana Lake... They are all within 40 mins away by car. Even Plitvice Lakes are just 90 mins away! Benkovac is accessible by public transportation (buses) from Zadar, Zagreb and few other larger cities. We are willing to pick you up or drop you off at Zadar Airport for a fee.
