In a quiet area on the South East coast of Mauritius, Fouilly Cottage is an attractive and secure self-catering cottage with enclosed garden, only 80m from the beach. Located on one of the most beautiful private beaches in Mauritius, you can enjoy the year-round good weather, crystal clear lagoon and surrounding islands and mountains. Fouilly Cottage is situated on a family domain, and our immediate neighbours are family/close friends. It is a calm area, very safe, and the beach is private. Swimming is safe, no shoes required - only sand in the sea... Snorkeling is recommended - nice spots close to the house, and in Blue Bay marine park 1.5km away. There is a bus stop very close to the cottage, every 15 mins, and taxis pass regularly - to Mahebourg, the closest village, or Blue Bay. There is a supermarket about 1.5km away, on the way to Mahebourg. Patricia, our housekeeper, can cook delicious local meals on request - she can also do shopping. Fresh fish/seafood is available and can be delivered at the cottage.
