Stunning Room in a Historic Quinta (the Stone)

Chance of a lifetime to stay in a majestic "Palacete" set in the lovely village of Cucujaes. You will have a private room with a shared, very large full bathroom and shared half bathroom, inside the house and two full bathrooms on the grounds. The room has a cosy bed with nice linens. There is also a desk and chair, if you really care to work, but we are sure that you won't be indoors very often. You will have access to most of the Palacete, including a sitting room with TV. There is a stunning pool for lounging and full size tennis court. You have access to the pool kitchen which is complete with a barbecue, fridge, hot plate, microwave and all utensils for your meals. We will provide you pool towels and lots of advice for restaurants nearby. The beach is also just 20 minutes away, by car. Steven and Thiago are mostly about to answer any questions, you may need. There will be tea and coffee provided, but as of now and due to COVID, no breakfast...but there is a small cafe just steps away. We have just opened for guests in mid-August of 2021. The Palacete has had extensive renovations that have lasted over 16 months. It has been (almost 100%) restored after sitting vacant for decades. There are still some parts not completed, but we are happy to share the magic with you now. Vila de Cucujaes is a small, quaint village about 35 minutes south of Porto. The nearest "big" town is Sao Joao da Madeira, which is 5-10 minutes by car. There you can find lots of shops and restaurants. The beach is under 20 minutes away and you could reach "Fatima" in an hour. To reach the Quinta, it is advisable to have a car, as public transport is limited. A booked "taxi" from Porto ranges from 35-50 euros. You could book taxis by phone from the Quinta as well and we are happy to assist.
