Bodia Retreat ~ Riverside house in the Jungle

Let the sounds of the jungle and the lapping of the river waters ease you into a complete sense of relaxation at the Bodia Riverside Retreat. It is our pleasure to share our piece of paradise with guests. Immersed within the jungle you'll find yourself in your own space, set by the river enjoying a glass of wine, beer, maybe some fresh Kombucha as you take in the beauty that surrounds. We are excited to offer a very unique opportunity for our guests that is unlike any other in the region. Your Riverside House set in the jungle is the perfect spot to unwind, on the deck, taking in the view from your bedroom or taking the kayak for a paddle. The home can accommodate 8 guests at anyone time. It includes a second story space comprising of two adjoining rooms with queen beds, and private balcony any hammock, downstairs is a king single bed/ day bed if you choose in a room opening out the the private deck looking across the water along with a large bathroom. Comfortable linen, ammenities, towels are supplied for your comfort and convenience. A fully equipped kitchen, large comfortable lounge room, a large open deck overlooking the river, surrounding jungle and mountains. An additional outdoor bamboo rinse shower and a river deck over the waters edge. Another mattress is available on request, also the couch able to be used as a very comfortable sofa bed and available as a sleeping alternative upon request. We will be available for guests needs, though respect that your space and privacy is paramount throughout your stay and we will do our upmost to ensure your stay is special. This is your space to explore the surrounds and become accustomed to living a lifestyle that will leave you feeling rejuvenated. You will have your own bungalow and use of the property. At times other guests may be staying in a different section of the property though for most part you’ll generally have the space to yourself. Surrounded by beauty, the area of Kampot is a beautiful escape from it all. Restaurants in Kampot are of a high quality and we are lucky enough to have ‘Greenhouse Restaurant’ for yummy food right next door. If you’d like to increase your relaxation level across the river is the wonderful Nibi Spa and they’ll come pick you up from the deck of Bodia Retreat. If water sports are your go, we have a free Kayak and every option you can think of is possible to rent. With Kep only a 20min ride from Kampot town. Exploring this sleepy beach town and a hike in the Kep National Park is a perfect day trip. Bokor National Park within 20min is also another great day trip as you disappear into the mountains for the day. Our tuk tuk drivers will happily transport you and guide you to ensure that you have the best experience for your time at Bodia Retreat along with the all the attractions of the area. If you feel comfortable hiring your own scooter or bicycle, this a also a great way to explore the area independently. Food delivery and all excursions can be arranged.
