Villa Ditya is a luxury holiday villa near Yogyakarta (Central Java, Indonesia). Central Java is also called the cultural centre of Indonesia. The central location of the villa (between Yogyakarta and Solo) makes it the ideal starting point for excursions to the Borobudur, the Prambanan, Yogyakarta, Solo and the Merapi volcano. Trips and transportation can be easily arranged by an experienced and reliable local tour operator. In the villa there are 3 bikes, which can be rented per day. It is also possbile to rent a becak (traditional Indonesian bicycle taxi) per trip or per day. The villa has a.o. 4 bedrooms (max 6 persons), 2 bathrooms, an outside bathroom, a swimming pool and a complete kitchen with 2 burner gas stove, a toaster, a kettle and a large fridge with separate freezer. Cutlery, crockery and pans are provided. Towels and bedlinen are available. Villa Ditya (Ditya means sun) stands on a plot of approximately 550m ² and has a floor area of approximately 150m ². The villa is in a rural location just outside Yogyakarta only 10 minutes by car from the main road from Yogya to Solo. From the villa to Yogyakarta is around 30 minutes by car. The famous Prambanan temple is around 20 minutes by car. At the rear of the villa is the spacious L-shaped living room. The living room includes a 40-inch LED LCD TV with satellite TV (more than 350 TV channels including BVN) and a DVD player. The living room at the rear two doors. Through the double doors lead out onto the covered porch. Our staff is present (security and houskeeping) and are happy to welcome and assist you. Housekeeping (cleaning towels, bedlinen etc) is done every few days. A cook (for breakfast, lunch and/or diner in the villa) is available upon request. In the near vicinity of the villa are some small local restaurants, a batik shop, an internet cafe and some (small) supermarkets. The bus stop is only a five minute walk away.
