Luxury Fishermans Cottage. A short tram ride to the Illuminations, and the Pleasure Beach. Spacious detached house. Off road parking. Great transport links to Blackpool Town with its bustling nightlife and restaurants. All home comforts including Wifi, Free view, Alexa, Netflix and Smart tv. Welcome pack and Hamper on arrival. ( please note hamper size depends on how many nights booked ). Two reception rooms and large open plan kitchen/dining room. My wife and I bought the cottage 12 years ago. It was a run down project to which we have fully refurbished to a high standard. In the 1920's it had been 2 seperate fishermans cottages. It is a very spacious 2 bedroom cottage/bungalow, with a 3rd bedroom/common room with sofa bed. With a modern kitchen and dining room, beautiful bathroom ( please note the shower is over the bath and also the bath is very deep. This would not be very suitable for the elderly and disabled) and beautiful decor throughout. It has 2 large garden's to play games and relax. There is free Wifi, Freeview and 4 tv's throughout the house. There is Alexa for all your music. There is off road parking. We have boardgames, ride on’s and scooters in the shed and a selection of books for you to enjoy. We also have a high chair for the little ones. ( PLEASE NOTE TOWELS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED DUE TO COVID )Hamper only supplied for 3 nights or more. The guest can access all the property excluding the garage. If there are any problems, guests are welcome to contact us. We love it here due to it being a 5 minute walk to the beach. The heart of Blackpool is a short tram ride or bus ride. And you can get to the Pleasure Beach and all the attractions straight down the promenade by tram. There is a bus stop right outside the property where the number 4 bus will take you into Blackpool town. The start of the Illuminations is a 5 minute drive. For things closer to home, there is the lovely market town of Poulton Le Fylde. Home to a range of high quality, independent boutiques and well known stores. Enjoy a bustling day time cafe culture and memorable nightlife. It also has an award winning railway station making it even easier to visit. We are close to local amenities and supermarkets. With the local pub only a 10 minute walk serving excellent food. There are shops, bars, restaurants and takeaways close by. Also, there are some great walks along the promenade, with cycle routes to Blackpool, Fleetwood and Cleveleys. There is sea fishing on the promenade and also a golf course nearby. The world firework championships are held every Friday during September. There is a bus service outside the front gate, that goes into the heart of Blackpool every 20 minutes. The number 4. Also a Tram stop 5 minutes walk, which will take you down the length of the Promenade and straight to the Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre and the Sandcastle Water Park. Or you could go north to the bustling fishing village of Fleetwood. If you want to go further afield, why not try a trip to the Lake District by car which is about 1 hour away. There you could visit the beautiful town of Windermere with its wonderful lake. Where you could take a boat trip across the lake. Nearby is Ambleside and Bowness with its wonderful walks. If you fancy a swim just a short car journey of 5 minutes to Moor Park health and Leisure centre. All details in guest folder on arrival. PLEASE NOTE: WELCOME HAMPER WILL VARY. FULL WELCOME HAMPER 6 nights or more. SMALL WELCOME HAMPER less than 6 nights. CHRISTMAS week the cottage will be decorated with tree and decks. A special luxury HAMPER will be supplied.
