Simple, cosy, quiet, relaxing space for 2 - Lime

Not quite a barn and not really a cottage, to let. Therefore, a "Barnlet"! Lime Barnlet is 1 of 3 barnlets which are individually self contained or ideal for a group of 3 couples, all set in the gardens of our house. Bedroom, bathroom, fitted kitchen and living area! Great base for Bath - a short car or train journey away. Loads of walks, beautiful countryside and close to Longleat ( 11 miles). Simple, cosy space. Perfect for a couple looking to get away from all things busy... A cosy little place for two that has a great location with accessibility to lots of interesting places - Longleat is close, with Stourhead and Stonehenge also not far away and you can see the Westbury White Horse from your patio. Bath, Frome and Bradford on Avon are all worth a visit. The nearest town is Trowbridge, which has several restaurants and an Odeon cinema. Two local pubs - The Farmhouse (Southwick) and The Full Moon (Rudge) - this is a charming "real pub" which is about a 30-40 minute stroll. You have your own parking space (big enough for 2 cars) close at hand. Your Barnlet also has a terrace with table and chairs, so weather depending, you can sit outside and soak up the surroundings. You are also very welcome to make use of the securely gated 1 acre garden at the front of the house - with loads of space for picnics and lazing under the trees. I live on site in the main house, with the rest of the family including dogs and cats. We will stay out of your way unless you ask! The property is on a lane (about a mile from civilisation), with neighbours on both sides, but other than that, we share the area with lots of fields, cows, horses and birds. There is a farm shop about a mile away, with a mini Tescos a bit further. You would most likely need a car to get to us, but once here, you could ditch it and either sit tight, or walk. Lots of public footpaths that start very close by. If you wanted to travel further afield, and didn't want to drive too far, there are train stations in Trowbridge and Westbury, which have links to Bath, Bradford on Avon, Frome and Chippenham (on the main line to London). This is not the place for you if you can't live without tech. Currently no TV or .... don't faint.... WIFI. However the phone and 4G signal are good, so you won't be cut off completely! There is a laundry room (on-site shared between the Barnlets) which houses a washing machine, iron and tumble dryer.
