Loft in eco-house in Villarepos

Villarepos is a small village in the countryside of Fribourg (20'), closed to the lake of Murten (5') and the historical site of Avenches. Our eco home is built with organic building materials. The studio has a light-flooded ambiance and its terrace is surrounded by a biodiverse garden. The perfect place to calm down! All furniture and equipment are made of organic material (wood, organic cotton). Furnished kitchen, courtesy tea & coffee. We only use eco cleaning and washing agents. It is a timberwork house, insulated with straw. The house is off grid. The electricity you consume is produced on the roof, as is the warm water too. You will sleep in a 'Hüsler Nest' (180x200cm), only wood, cotton and natural latex. There is a wood burner to feel cosily warm when temperatures are a bit chilly. The whole house runs on rainwater. Drinking water is filtered by osmose-filters. The garden hosts native plants, nourishes bees, insects and us! There are a lot of herbs like mint and verbena you may like to make an infusion of. Please help yourselves! There is WLAN and a radio. If you miss something, please come and ask. We are please to help you. The studio is accessed by its own entrance. This whole space, its attached private bathroom and terrace are yours. You are also welcome to use the rest of the garden. This is shared area, though. There is an outside barbecue grill - please ask for it, we are pleased to bring it up to your terrace. Free parking in front of the house, left hand side towards the hill. Please feel free to come and ring the bell at ours. We are pleased to assist you with any information about the region and what to do. It is a very calm neighbourhood, there are children playing outside in the streed and animals living next door: a cock, hens, two peacocks and two horses - you will hear and see them. There is a bus stop at 500 m, a train station in Avenches at about 4 km and in Murten, approx. 10 km away. Please check public transport on sbb.ch or tpf.ch. Bicycle There a lot of cycling tours in the region. The 'Seeland' is rather plane, but there are hills. From Murten to our home: about 10 km, 30', goes up the hill, From Avenches to our home: about 4.5 km, 20', goes up the hill From Faoug (closest point to the lake of Murten) to our home: 4 km, 15', goes up the hill The parking space is just in front of the house, left hand side - parking space for guests, normal car. Please be aware that you stay in a very calm neighbourhood. Please respect and act accordingly. Night rest statutory night rest in Switzerland: 10 pm to 6 am, whole day on bank holidays. Please reduce your speaking volume if you stay on the terrace and the volume of any other source of noise. Check-in Check-in time: 4 pm to 8 pm.
