Gillman’s Cottage is a beautiful, quintessentially English cottage adjacent to The Dog & Badger. This Grade II listed former Ale House believed to date back to 1550 has been sympathetically refurbished and converted into six luxurious en suite rooms. The six rooms all retain their original character but have stunning bathrooms, air conditioning, and complimentary Wifi. All of our beds are super-king-sized apart from Hibiscus which is king-sized. Three can be converted into twin rooms. The rooms feature coffee machines, tea making facilities, hairdryers and ironing facilities. Some of our rooms have restricted height due to being an old cottage Our Gilman's Cottage is a beautiful space to stay and the six rooms are beautifully designed and are very comfortable. nestled in the middle of Medmenham Village, it is a great place to stay if travelling to Henley. Although we will reopen with limited capacity, we want to ensure you have a great stay and be welcomed into our beautiful cottage. From May 2021 we will deliver a breakfast hamper to your room as we reorganise our restaurant for reopening. We hope to resume serving a cooked breakfast soon. Situated close to Marlow, we are within 6 miles (10 km) of Higginson Park, All Saints Church and Longridge Activity Centre. Henley Bridge and Leander Club are also within 6 miles (10 km).
