Altquhur Cottage

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture. The cottage is situated on a quiet lane one mile from Drymen with some fantastic walks from the front door. We have Wifi, Freesat TV, DVD Player and a selection of DVDs and books to keep you entertained should the Scottish weather live up to it's reputation! Whole property We will try to welcome you to the cottage when you arrive and are available by telephone if you need anything. Check in is after 4pm and check out is before 10am, please let us know if you need to arrive early or leave later and we will try to accommodate you. We are in a very rural setting with views over the surrounding hills and farms. Drymen is one mile away from the cottage. Access recommended by car with private outside the cottage. Drymen is one mile away and has some buses to Glasgow, Balloch and Balmaha. We welcome pets and charge £20 per pet per stay, payable by cash on arrival. We don’t allow pets on our furniture. We provide a starter pack of wood and kindling for the fire and more is available to purchase when you arrive. Please let us know if you require a travel cot or a high chair.
