Coal Coast House: Secluded coastal acreage
Coal Coast House is a unique holiday property providing relaxed, boutique coastal accommodation. The midcentury home sits on several acres of land boasting ocean views in one direction and beautiful escarpment views in the other. With plenty of surrounding bushland and no direct neighbours the house offers complete seclusion and privacy. At Coal Coast House you will feel totally removed from the rest of the world, however you are only minutes from the beach, local shops, cafes and restaurants. Coal Coast House is set over two levels. The upper level comprises 3 bedrooms - one queen bedroom and two king bedrooms. Both king beds can be reconfigured to two single beds per room if preferred. Also on this level is the main bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. Additionally the upper level contains the main living area with wall mounted television as well as the kitchen and dining areas. The ground level, which is accessed via an external staircase, provides a separate second living area with TV and table tennis facilities. This rumpus area also contains a sofa bed for additional sleeping requirements. This level features the fourth bedroom (queen) with ensuite. In addition there is a second separate toilet and laundry. The house has a wrap around driveway which means that both levels are accessible by car and it is possible to access both upper and ground floors without using stairs. Coal Coast House features a covered outdoor entertaining area which includes an outdoor lounge, 10 seater dining table, fireplace, gas BBQ and a wood fired pizza oven. There is a second fridge/freezer which we will leave stocked with homemade pizza bases and cheese - all you need to do is provide your favourite toppings! The yard is huge and has two sets of football goal posts - perfect for backyard footy! There is also a kids cubby house and sandpit. If you are taking the family to the beach we provide beach toys and beach towels for use so you don't have to worry about bringing your own. Coledale is a quaint and picturesque seaside village. It has two beaches, one patrolled during summer. The town is bordered by the sea and the escarpment, so as well as having fantastic beaches there are also a variety of bushwalking tracks. There are great local cafes and a local bottle shop as well as an RSL club. Coal Coast House is within walking distance to all these local attractions, however please note we are located at the top of a steep hill. Coledale train station is less than 5 minutes walk from the house. There is also a walking/bike track nearby that goes all the way south to Wollongong and north to Stanwell Park. Entire property We live locally so can be available should you need us during your stay, however we will not disturb you unless requested. Coledale is a quaint and picturesque seaside village. Please note that given the current situation with Covid19 restrictions in place we are willing to take bookings for the upcoming holiday season with a special cancellation policy in place. Should you have to cancel your booking due to government imposed restrictions a full refund will be given. Please be aware this does not apply to change of mind or concerns about a rise in Covid19 cases. It applies to government imposed restrictions on travel only. Otherwise cancellation is as per our Airbnb policy.
