Welcome to our traditional cycladic house in the center of the beautiful village of Galanado! Our guests can enjoy the breathtaking, panoramic view of the village, the old town of Naxos, the sunset and the sea from our balconies. Our house is only 5km away from port/city center and about 15 minutes from the organized beaches of the island. It is also located next to the village's plaza, perfect for kids. This could ensure you the most peaceful and relaxing vacation, away from the busy center! Our home was built in 1932, stone construction, renovated and decorated based on the cycladic architecture in 2016. Although the style is modern traditional, we kept some old furnitures as the inheritance of our ancestors. The house, 75 m2, has two floors with one bedroom with three beds, two of them are built, as the upper floor, one kitchen, one bathroom, one living room, one balcony, parking spot and a yard with a large table and a built sofa. Some additional things will be placed in the house before your arrival in Naxos this summer. Blue and white are the main colors of the house. It is a peaceful and romantic place and has been built and decorated with love. It would be our pleasure to accommodate you in our beautiful home! Enjoy the traditional naxian souvlaki and raki of our village at the grocery store/tavern, 1 minute from the house. Everything is made from local products and you can also have them delivered to the house. Across the street, there is the butcher's shop with great meat from Naxos, for the cooking days. Galanado is about a 10-minute drive from the main town - "Chora", the port and the airport, and about a 15 minutes drive from the best beaches of Naxos: Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna, Plaka, Mikri Vigla. It is also close to beautiful villages worth visiting, like Xalki and Apeiranthos. You have access to all the spaces of the house, as you see them in the photos. There are no communal rooms or equipment. Please take care of the house as if it were yours! Unfortunately, I will be working in Athens during your staying in Galanado. However, one of my parents will be there to welcome you in person. I will introduce you to the house and Naxos, in general, by the phone. You may interact with me as often as you wish. I am always at your disposal to give you information about the house and tips for the island in order to make your staying here one of the most unforgettable experiences that you 've ever had. I suggest you should have a car for your transportation in the island. This could facilitate your access to the house, as well as give you great experiences discovering our magical island and its wonderful beaches. And remember: Parking is not an issue in our place. I could also arrange a taxi drive for the transportation from the port or the airport to the house!
