Waterfront Apartment with fantastic views of Stradbroke Island. Canoe or kayak Moreton Bay from the back yard. A short ferry ride from Redland Bay to this magical kayaking, bike riding, and fishing paradise. There is a pool table in this property. Being on the waterfront is an amazing experience. At high tide you can take a tinny or canoe straight off the beach . At other times you can launch a boat from the main boat ramp. The views are extensive and you will find yourself constantly studying the beauty. There is abundant birdlife on the Island. The best form of transport around the islands is by pushbike and you can take the bikes on the ferries to visit the other islands. The apartment has its own seperate access and has a queen size bed in the separate bedroom. Lamb Island has a small bus called a SMBI bus and you can call them to get picked up from the ferry or home. the cost is $5 per head There is a licensed recreation club on the Island that is open everyday and serves meals on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. In addition there is a small convenience store that sells essentials and makes great coffee and takeaways. The are two types of transport to the island. Firstly there is a Translink run ferry that transports, people, luggage, push bikes and pets using the Queensland public transport "go card" (Note: there is free travel between the islands). In addition, there is a vehicle barge on which you can book your vehicle to come across to the island (visit the stradbroke ferries website for information). The property is an easy 2km walk from the jetty. However, there is a small bus that you can phone to pick you up from the ferry or home (the cost is $5 per person). Both the barge and ferry leave from Redland Bay. Please note there is no wifi
