Cosy Old Devonshire Shop

Located in the centre of the town of Hatherleigh Close to all amenities. Great for walking on Dartmoor. On the road parking. Comfortable self contained suite. The shop is accommodation which sleeps 2 people. It has an en suite with its own entrance. Everything you need is within walking distance, ie.. Pubs, Cafe, chip shop, post office, Co-op and bus stop. The accommodation is self contained with its own porch and en suite. Please message us if you have any questions. Although we are central to Hatherleigh it is very peaceful and quiet. We have lots of walks and cycle tracks nearby. Dartmoor is a short distance away with lots to discover. We have 2 great pubs within a few minutes walk. The cafe upthe road serves a lovely breakfast and amazing cakes. We have a live auction, there is a market on a Tuesday morning and a lovely pottery where you can buy a nice little souvenir from Devon. Hatherleigh has a festival in the summer and a carnival in the winter (November.) We are just off the A386 which is the main route from Barnstaple down to Plymouth. This makes us a good place to stop off as its half way doing the coast to coast route from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. We have buses to Okehampton and Exeter. The train to Exeter leaves from Okehampton Station. We have a lot of people who arrive on bikes. We are unable to store bikes on the premises but we have a bike park directly opposite the accommodation which can be seen from the window. Bikes can be chained up here. There is also an area to park bikes by the co-op (1 minute walk away) which has a security camera.
