Snowdonia Farmhouse
Stay on a 400 acre working hill farm in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park near the UNESCO world heritage site of Cwmystradllyn. Cwm Mawr (which means Big Valley) is away-from-it-all and has amazing views, with Welsh Black cattle and sheep roaming the fields all around. The farmhouse has a large traditional kitchen and the sitting room has an open ingle nook fire place. Great for walkers, my place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Cwm Mawr is truly unique as it has amazing views overlooking Cardigan Bay. The farmhouse is almost 500 years old, has many features and has a great deal of character. It stands on a hilltop and is very exposed, and on a blustery day its deep stone walls keeps guests safe and cosy inside. Cwm Mawr is a fairly remote farm, without being isolated. It's an easy 15 minutes drive to get to shops and pubs. Car essential
