We speak Spanish and English. La Casa Azul is located on the west coast of Puerto Rico, very close to Aguada, Aguadilla and Rincón. Our house has five (5) wonderful and cozy rooms, an excellent shared pool area, a small private forest, a private museum with Aguada antiques and a Cacao farm where we make the chocolate tour. We are minutes from the beach and the best tourist attractions of the West. My family and I will help you with the hospitality that characterizes the Puerto Ricans. We have a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with clean and comfortable rooms. Casa Azul is decorated with a Creole look, typical of Spanish Caribbean country houses. Our space is designed for your comfort. The rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom, comfortable closets, towels, sheets and toiletries. On our terrace, we have comfortable benches, chairs, hammocks, and tables for having breakfast, reading a book, or simply relaxing while looking out over the garden. We have water, coffee and juice available! We also have an internal dining room, island-bar, TV and living room with an area for board games and reading. In the garden, we have a large patio and a great shared pool area, grill and three comfortable gazebos with hammocks to enjoy the outdoors while you relax. We also have a small forest area with walking trails, an orchid garden, a Cacao planting area, and a campfire area. We have free wireless connection for all our guests. Stay with us and enjoy paradise! We have free wireless connection throughout the house. We have stairs or ramp so that people in wheelchairs can go up to the second level. There are several common spaces, designed for leisure and your greatest enjoyment. The room is private. It has comfortable beds, and a spacious bathroom. We include towels, toiletries and sheets. We have a comfortable living room with a TV, an area with a variety of board games, books and comfortable chairs. There is also a nice terrace with hammocks, comfortable chairs and tables where you can eat outside or just have a coffee. The kitchen has all the appliances so you can cook and prepare your breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, stove and everything you need for your use and comfort. The patio and garden has two gazebos for your enjoyment and an excellent shared pool area. There is also a small wooded area with walking paths, seating, a fire pit, and a garden with orchids. We are located a few minutes from the main attractions of the city and very close to the beach. (Español mas abajo) Our family is at best disposition so that your stay is first. You can contact us by phone, message or personally whenever you need it. There are always towels available, we have a list of restaurants and tourist attractions, coffee and candy for your enjoyment. We are available to talk and recommend tourist sites in Aguada and nearby towns. I am a certified tour guide and as part of your stay we have a visit to our private museum. We also offer extra cost a variety of cultural tours through the area of Aguada, Rincón and Aguadilla. Cocoa Tour! Our House has a cocoa farm where we produce handmade chocolate. That is why as part of your stay, they have a cocoa tour included. The Tour has a duration of one hour. The time is coordinated directly with our guests during your stay. We learn about the cultivation and processing of cocoa; From the tree to chocolate. We include tasting a rich cup of artisanal hot chocolate. En el recorrido aprendemos sobre el cultivo del cacao y su procesamiento hasta obtener una taza de chocolate caliente. Degustamos cacao en todas sus faces. El tour se realiza normalmente en horarios de 10am a 11am los fines de semana y dias en semana de 5pm a 6pm. Aguada is a city on the west coast of the island. It has a unique history, culture, natural resources and gastronomy. We are only 6 minutes from beautiful beaches, there are more than 10 in the city! The beaches of Espinar, Pico de Piedra, Cañones, Positas, Table Rock and Mameyito are our favorites! Aguada is a beautiful, well-kept and clean city. It has a wide gastronomic offer and a wide and varied trade. It is known as the City of Discovery and the town of Boutiques! It has a great cultural offer: there is a museum, a free exhibition hall just 3 minutes away by car. It has a tourist office at the Centro de Bellas Artes that offers free tours throughout the city. Aguada has the Historical Museum of Aguada, Historical Archive, the old church of San Francisco, the sanctuary and hermitage of Espinar, the Cruz de Colón, the old train station, La Central Coloso, the walk of the boutiques, the Center of Fine Arts, the market square and the playground. We are only 3 minutes from the historic center and 7 minutes from the beautiful beaches. In the Plaza Cruz de Colón we have monuments and the Artisan Market every Saturday from 12:00 to 20:00. The sunsets from the Aguada coast are spectacular. The best place to watch the sunset is at the Olajas bar near Pico de Piedra beach. Very close to the house you will find a great variety of waterfalls! The Piedras Blancas Waterfall, Atalaya Waterfall and Jaguey Waterfall are between 3 to 15 minutes away. The town has a variety of Agrotours: Explore the Fincas el Ñamero, the Jeanmarie Chocolate Farm tour, the free Pitahayas tour and the Grapes tour. Also meet and explore the unique Earthship of PuertoRico (free) Among the beaches are: Pico de Piedra, Positas Beach, Punta Río Grande Beach, Table Rock Beach (Surf) Espinar Beach and Los Cañones Beach. I highly recommend that you visit La Guarapera, for a sugar cane juice or a cold coconut. Paletados for a local nuce ice cream or Cafelados for a delicious coffee. We are also very close to the services of nearby towns. We are located 15 minutes from the Rincón lighthouse and beaches, 15 minutes from the Aguadilla bowling alley and beaches, 20 minutes from Crashboat, 15 minutes from the Aguadilla art museum, 15 minutes from Parque Colón, the museum of the ( Mundillo) of Moca and the Paseo Real Marina. We are also less than 30 minutes from the Gozalandia waterfall. The Guajataca Forest is 40 minutes away by car. We have the Rafael Hernández International Airport just 30 minutes from the property and the Eugenio María de Hostos airport in just 25 minutes. There are 5 festivals in the city for each season: January, April, July, October and November! In addition to bohemian nights, poetry and crafts every month. There is so much to see ... enjoy as a local! The best way to explore the island is by renting a car. There are several companies that rent in front of the airports. The other methods to explore western Puerto Rico are using Uber or a taxi, but they are more expensive transportation. Highly recommended Rent a car. Extra charges: Each space has a maximum number of guests. Additional guests who have not been notified will pay an extra charge of $ 25 per person per night. Smoking is not allowed inside the House or in the rooms. There is a designated area in the Gazebo. Smoking inside the property will be charged $ 100 Pets are not allowed on the property. If you bring pets, there will be a $ 40 fee per animal. If you need to arrive earlier you must notify us in advance and it will be subject to the availability of your space. Late check out. Check out is at 12:00 noon or earlier. The late check out must be notified in advance and will be subject to space availability. An extra $ 20 fee will be charged for each additional hour after 12:00 noon. The House is exclusively for guests. No strangers or visitors are allowed inside the Casa Azul facilities of any person who is not a guest or an employee of Casa Azul. Only Casa Azul Guests can use the pool area.
