Lovely cottage in the hills of Ramsbottom

The place is a stone built cottage and features fires in living and dining area. Good sized well equiped kitchen which guests have use of. Huge bedroom with king size bed. Bathroom has corner bath and excellent shower. Use of washing machine. Views over Holcombe hill and scout moor. Great walking to be had straight out of the door. Close to Ramsbottom centre which has some of the best Restaurants and bars in North Manchester. Fantastic walks on the doorstep plus the steam train (East lands Railway) is in Ramsbottom. Cosy real fire for a warm after those country walks. Guests have access to all areas of the house apart from my own bedroom. Happy to host and act as guide for local amenities/ walks if I'm around. Ramsbottom is fast becoming one of the best places to live if you like a balance of quiet rural countryside yet with a wealth of great bars and restaurants. We even have our own music festival! Bus route (x41) from Manchester city centre stops right outside the door every half hr. You can even get the steam train from Manchester via bury for a nostalgic treat. M66 is only 2 mins away Good cheap and reliable taxi service locally.
