Dundonnachie House

We really hope you enjoy your stay at Dundonnachie House, the house was formerly used as offices and we have lovingly restored it back to a home. The house is located right in the centre of Aberfeldy, with all amenities within walking distance. There is an abundance of Bars, Restaurants, Coffee Shops and boutique shops to be enjoyed. The first Sunday of every month(April - Oct), from 10am - 2pm there is the Aberfeldy Farmers Market selling a mix of food, art and craftsmanship. Set back off the main street, Dundonnachie House offers high standard Self Catering Accommodation in the heart of Aberfeldy. Set over two floors, the accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, one King and the other an en -suite Super King/Two Singles, there is also room for a travel cot in this room. A further bathroom completes the first floor. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen, dining and living room complete with wood burning stove. There is a small enclosed patio to the front of the house. With free Wifi, gas central heating, double glazing, Dundonnachie House is fully equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Please note there is not a DVD player. The TV has USB points should you wish to use an Amazon Firestick (not supplied) or similar device for streaming movies etc. The period of let is for the entire house. We stay in Aberdeen, so access is gained by a Key Code box, located to the left hand side of the front door, however, we are available via phone should you require any assistance. Aberfeldy is a short 25 minute drive to Pitlochry, 30 minutes to Dunkeld and 40 minutes to Crieff. From the house, you are literally a stone's throw away from the shops, pubs and restaurants. The Birks of Aberfeldy walking route, golf course, putting and bowling greens, tennis courts, Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery, the Birks Cinema, a large play park, swimming pool and fishing on the river. There are some fantastic walking routes in and around Aberfeldy. Public Transport, by means of a Bus is available in the Town Centre. The nearest Train Station is in Pitlochry. There is parking available outside the house or on the Main Street. Please note parking outside the house is NOT guaranteed. We do not own this piece of land. **WE ARE NOW OPEN FOR BOOKINGS** We are pleased to announce that we are open for bookings again. New cleaning procedures have been implemented, which means our usual very thorough clean plus wiping hard surfaces, sockets, switches, remote controllers etc. with a viricidal agent conforming to EN14476, finally a final sanitising stage to deliver 99.99% sanitisation against pathogens via fogging or steaming. Our cleaner has also completed an ASSC online certificated course (Landlords’ Little Helper’s Cleaning School, Certificate of Competence) We have had to implement a higher cleaning fee as a result to cover the cost of the chemicals and fogging machine.
