The villages of Bangalow and Mullimbimby are about a 20 minute drive, Nimbin around 45 minutes. Nightcap National Park can been seen from the property and is a short drive. Great bushwalking and the spectacular (especially after rain) Minyon Falls beckon. The Federal Store is 10 minutes away, functioning as the local supermarket, bottle shop, post office, newsagent and eftpos outlet. Doma Japanese cafe is next door for fantastic modern Japanese/Australian food. For groceries Mullum IGA is a further 10 minutes drive. Lismore is about 25 minutes away. Half an hour drive to Bluesfest. An hours drive from the Gold Coast Airport. Own transport is required. The land line is available for local telephone calls. Metered calls will be charged as extra. Most mobiles are out of range at the house, you need to head up the road a few minutes depending on your network.
