You are welcome to make yourself at home - prepare meals in the kitchen, enjoy your breakfast in the garden or sunny verandah. Street parking outside the house, in a safe and secure area. Located close to public transport into the city, Chatswood or Macquarie Park (and beyond). Located in a quiet location, in a stylish new home. Surrounded by gardens and parks, with a short stroll to cafes, restaurants, supermarket, chemist and newagent. Easy access with public transport to Sydney CBD (ferry and buses), St. Josephs College and local schools, Macquarie Hospital, University and Business Park. Off street parking is also always available. Easy trip into Birkenhead Point or Westfields (Macquarie) for shopping. The room is in the front of the house, getting sun in both the morning and afternoon, overlooking the front garden. The room is very clean and comfortable, new double bed (electric blanket for the chillier nights), heating and full wardrobe space. Relaxing armchair with reading lamp, and tea/coffee making facilities. Plenty of power points and a laptop workspace makes this a very self-contained and pleasant room. Wi-Fi is included. The bathroom is 5* , with all amenities, heat lamps, heated towels rails and fluffy bath sheets. A full length bath, for soak after a long day. Warm, cosy and inviting. The kitchen has all the amenities, which you are welcome to use, including Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and modern appliances. Combined dining and lounge area, with a large gas fire to cosy up in front of and watch some TV. I can also accommodate travellers with pets, subject to agreement. Shared access to the ground floor of the house: kitchen, dining and lounge area, garden and back patio. Access to the washing machine and clothes lines (or dryer if its raining). I will welcome you when you arrive and provide you with your own key to come and go as you please. I will make sure that you are comfortable and settled in and will be available for any questions during your stay. The village of Hunters Hill has a number of cafes, serving great food, a small supermarket, and a number of restaurants. Lovely and local and great price and quality. 10 minutes walk to catch buses into the Sydney CBD (around 20 minutes), or towards the west - Blue Mountains etc. A slightly longer walk to the ferries into the harbour and up the Paramatta River. Lots of lovely parks and street walks to get a sense of the area. I sometimes have friends pets (dogs) to stay but all are very social and friendly. They are inside dogs too.
