Matamata is a great base to explore our beautiful region. We are central to Tauranga, Rotorua, and Hamilton. The Kaimai's offer excellent hiking .. We are 15 minutes drive from Hobbiton and 7 minutes walk from the Matamata Isite . Wander our garden, relax on the deck, cuddle our cat and feed the turtles if its summer time. This bedroom is large, airy and sunny, yet quite private. Relax in our home and explore our region, do your washing and enjoy some home cooked food . Feel free to relax in our living area, on the deck or in the garden Please ask if you need help, we are very happy to assist as best we can . Our home was built in 1936 so it's big and airy and has plenty of native timbers. It is situated in one of the oldest streets in town .Matamata is a small but very busy town . Get to Matamata privately or catch an Intercity bus. You can walk around town easily.... it's small. We do require that you are double vaxxed for covid 19.
