There is a private outdoor seating area with a dining table and chairs, plus a shed for storage. The apartment is across the road from the beach, and the local shop, pub, hotel and bus stop, beside the picturesque harbour, are only a short 2 minute walk away. Parking in Lower Largo is free and consists of on street parking and 3 car parks - at the sailing club, beach car park and the station car park up on the old railway. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment with hourly buses going from Glasgow to St Andrews via Leven and the East Neuk; stopping at many lovely Fife villlages and towns. The nearest train station is in Markinch for trains to Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth. Ideally situated in the village across the road from the beach and 2 minutes from Andy's local shop, the Railway Inn and the Crusoe Hotel on the pretty harbour. Its a short 8 minute walk over the harbour bridge to Lundin Links where you'll find the baker, butcher and chemist and a couple of lovely gift shops and coffee shop, Lower Largo is on the Fife costal path and as well as being able to walk to Elie or the East Neuk, there are also many interesting local country walks or nearby. At 953ft Largo Law, the locally accessible hill of volcanic origin, provides an extensive view of the surrounding area and across the Firth of Forth to the Lothians Sea View is a short walk or drive to many great golf courses in Fife, including Scotland’s newest golf course at Dumbarnie Links. Walkers and bird watchers can follow the Fife coastal path to pretty beaches and coves along the East Neuk of Fife. With great local pubs and restaurants, including 2 Michelin Star restaurants, Lower Largo is an ideal holiday base for families, or friends wanting to explore Fife, Perthshire and Tayside. It is a 20 minute drive to St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife and 15 Minutes from the mainline railway stations at Markinch and Cupar. There is a bus stop 2 minutes from the apartment for buses to St Andrews, Leven and Glasgow.
