Lulworth coastal path peaceful room and breakfast

Bindon Lodge is perfect for walkers: it’s on a private lane and footpath in Lulworth with direct access to the south west coastal path on Bindon Hill, and is a few minutes walk from Lulworth Cove. Ground floor guest bedroom with a double bed (mahogany low end sleigh bed) with patio doors opening to the terraced garden, with a private bathroom. Perfect for walkers wanting a quiet overnight stay and breakfast in a family home. Ideal for those wanting to leave the car behind and walk to the surrounding beaches and Jurassic coastline. There is also private off-road parking for those arriving by car. As this is a family home our guest room is only available on a Friday and Saturday night in term time and during selected parts of the school holidays. Terraced garden with seating and outdoor dining areas overlooking West Lulworth Church and valley. Please note that access to the guest bedroom and bathroom is through the family front door and hall. Please ask for recommendations for eating out, beaches, walks and nearby visitor attractions (Durdle Door, The Tank Museum, Monkey World, Tyneham Village, The Etches Collection). I offer a continental style 'grab and go' breakfast for guests to take with them. 5 mins walk up from Lulworth Cove, and less than 1 mins walk to access Bindon Hill and the south west coastal path at the bottom of the lane. Sunnyside is a quiet private lane in West Lulworth, away from the Main Road. There are plenty of fabulous places to eat out at - from the Limestone Restaurant close by, to a walk over to The Sailor’s Return at East Chaldon. There is a well stocked village shop that is open for most of the year below the Church. Bindon Lodge offers an off road car parking space on the drive and it is perfect for those walking the south west coastal path. There is a seasonal public bus service; Wool railway station (direct line from London Waterloo) is 5 miles away and there is a reliable local taxi service. This is a family home with a dog. Please note: we are able to offer 1 night stays to those walking the south west coastal path, and do not charge additional fees for 1 night stays, cleaning or breakfast. If guests wish to leave their vehicle on the private drive outside of check in/out hours there is an additional £3.50 charge per half day. I offer a continental style 'grab and go' breakfast for guests to take with them.
