In summer they enjoy the pleasant climate, perfect for long hikes, mountain bike tours, yoga, meditation, animal watching or simply to let your soul dangle in the sun. The alpine pasture is part of the plant protection area. You can reach the ski lifts on skis in winter. Tourism Obertauern offers a daily, summer program for all generations - many activities free of charge! From June 1 - Octob (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , our guests enjoy numerous free entries to mountain railroads, cable cars, outdoor parks, outdoor pools, museums and much more. Due to rising inflation as well as rising energy costs, we reserve the right to adjust the price to the official consumer price index of Statistics Austria. Therefore, the rental price may increase between the conclusion of the contract and the start of the rent. The chalet has a real hut character. All rooms are equipped with solid wood from the own mountain pasture. Rustic interior keeps the focus on the essentials, nature, community and sports. Coziness The chalet is has a very original flair with rustic charm.   Hut flair The chalet "Sennhütte" offers with its quiet location and the cozy living-dining room everything the heart of an alpine hut lover needs: an open kitchen and a very cozy sitting area. Board games, sun chairs and barbecue (outdoor) are ready to enjoy the time! (Please inquire in time). Our guests have the entire house as well as a private ski-storage. We are available to our guests at any time for questions. We are also happy to give tips regarding the surroundings and all kinds of activities. The house "Sennhütte" at Obertauern is accessible by car. Snow clearance cannot be guaranteed. The ski slope can usually be reached on skis. The cross-country ski trail is located a few metres from the front door. The centre of Obertauern is max. 5 min by car. The next bus stop "Kehrkreuz" is about 650 meters away. Limited winter service.
