Beautiful holiday escape in the heart of Dartmoor

Enjoy a Dartmoor escape in the heart of an ancient stannery town. There are stunning walks and great access to outdoor activities on your doorstep, with the convenience of a short walk to the centre of town for great food shopping and other independent shops.The house is bright and light with great views of the moor from the upstairs, and the walls are hung with local artwork. The bedrooms have just been redecorated to give you a unique luxury stay. The house is light and spacious. The house is set off the road there is a height limit to enter the parking area for the property but most cars should fit as our VW van can get in. The front of the property is accessed by some steps seen in the photos so it is not so suitable for someone who is unsteady on their feet. We will be available by phone for any questions Chagford is a small town with independent shops, boutiques and a Friday market. We have a great selection of food shops from bakeries selling homemade sourdough bread, delicatessen, dairy, grocery and a spar for essentials. There are a good selection of pubs and cafes to choose from to dine out and also we have food vans coming into town in the evenings with stone baked pizza and other takeaways. There is an open air swimming pool open in the summertime. You can get get most things in town but if you wanted to go into a city then there is a daily bus to Exeter where there is a cinema, high st shops, clip and climb and other activities.
