'Home from home' is how I'd like guests to feel having stayed in this welcoming, sparkling clean and spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. It's a lovely, light filled, flowing property, tastefully decorated and offers a patio, garden and off street parking in a village called Failand, 15 minutes from Bristol airport and 15 minutes from Bristol City Centre. Failand has a popular pub and Post Office/grocery store and is a great place to enjoy glorious countryside yet with close proximity to Bristol Perfect for both those travelling to the Bristol region for work purposes and contracts or those looking for a getaway holiday or fun filled weekend in the SouthWest. A light filled, tastefully furnished, welcoming house with well equipped kitchen and dining area, good Wifi, sitting room and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is off street parking for 2/3 cars or two vans and on street parking. It also has a private patio to enjoy outside on a bright day. If you don't feel like staying in to eat, Failand has a local, popular pub serving good food within walking distance. Bristol is a vibrant city - there is always a festival, concert, sporting event, art exhibition or something to do. There's also a host of other attractions locally and beautiful countryside. Ashton Court and Ashton Gate Stadium are a mile away, as is Tyntesfield, a National Trust property, only a little further is Noah's Ark Zoo which is great for families. It's all on your doorstep if you want to pack in a busy agenda, but if you just want to mooch about and relax, it's a great house for that too. Cardiff and Bath are easy to reach and make great day trips or hit the beach at Weston super Mare or Burnham. With two golf courses less than a mile away, it’s perfect to use it as a base to enjoy the courses of Bristol and surrounding areas. You have sole access to the house while you rent it. Guests are welcome to enjoy the private patio and use the grassed garden area. I live in the house next door but am sometimes away, although always available to answer any queries. Due to this and for your convenience so you access the house anytime after check in, there is a key safe box accessed with a code, given before check in. One room, not pictured or described is kept locked as it contains some personal items. If I'm at home, which is next door, by all means knock and say hello if you wish or ask me anything about the house or local area. If you'd prefer to be left alone, that's fine too but feel free to contact me if you have any enquiries. Just message me through Airbnb or find my contact number in the house and I'll respond within an hour or two during normal hours. Failand is a village on the outskirts of Bristol, 15 minutes drive from the airport, and 10 minutes drive from resplendent Clifton with its boutique shops and fancy restaurants and its famous Suspension Bridge. Surrounded by glorious countryside, less than a mile from the National Trust property, Tyntesfield and Ashton Court Estate, and two 18 hole golf courses. Ashton Gate stadium is not much further and Failand is also not far from the coast especially the seaside town of Clevedon. It's a great base to explore from, and return to, after being out and about or at work. Locally are some lovely walks in woods, great pubs, and should you wish to venture further afield, Bath is about 40 minutes away as is the beach at Weston super Mare and South Wales. It's easiest to have your own car when staying in Failand but there is a bus stop for the X7 that is 3 minutes walk from the house. It takes 20 minutes to get into Bristol and similar to go to Clevedon in the opposite direction. If you unfortunately lock yourself out or lose your keys, I will be able to help you regain access. £60 charge for lost keys.
