Ambient Studio, Private & Peaceful

This is a free standing studio, light, airy & ambient, with french doors leading to your own private deck and overlooking an old fashioned orchard. Recently refurbished, modern ensuite, tasteful colours and a top quality queen sized bed. Limited kitchen facilities include microwave, electric frypan, hotplate and and an outdoor barbeque. Cutlery, crockery, glassware etc are provided. Situated in a secluded valley with an abundance of native bird life, and just 5 mins walk from town. The nearest beach is only a kilometre or so away. We do things a little differently, in that we try to keep cost down and cater to the budget traveller who is prepared to provide their own linen, and to clean up leaving the space as you find it. The base fee is calculated around you doing the cleaning and providing your own bedsheets, pillowcases and towels [ warm duvets and pillows provided for you]. If you'd like us to take care of these things then an extra one off fee of $15 for linen and $20 for cleaning is charged, please advise at time of booking. This is an ideal location for those who would like to escape the bustle of summer crowds, and yet enjoy day trips around the scenic Coromandel Peninsula. It's just a short walk to the best cafe in town, the Thames Saturday Market, and the Kaueranga valley is within easy driving distance. There is a carpark space for you and the studio is an easy short walk of about 25m from here up the garden path, there are 3 or 4 steps. We live on site and are there to assist with your requirements and any local knowledge. The whole town is within easy walking distance. Kitchen facilities are limited to a microwave, bar fridge, barbeque and frypan. Cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils are supplied. There is a large supermarket in the center of town[within 15 min walking distance] to supply your everyday needs. Also many eateries... we can point you in the right direction. Our fee is based on you providing you own top and bottom bedsheets, pillowcases and towels, we can provide these but a one off $15 charge applies. Please advise when you book. We do offer the opportunity for those on a budget to do their own cleaning if they are prepared to leave the studio as they find it, vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials supplied, please advise at time of booking which way you want to go with this otherwise a cleaning charge of $20 applies.
