If you walk out of the apartment block and head right, walk to the top of Sheepcote Street and you will be on Broad Street which is a famous mile stretch of bars and restaurants, there is no through traffic due to further expansion of the tram system however if you walk to Birmingham Library you can get on the tram there and it will take you to the city centre passing through Victoria Square, then stopping at New Street Station, costs £1 - affordable and super easy access to get around the city. The walk from New Street Station is roughly 10 Minutes, with Moor Street Station being a further 2 minute walk away. Digbeth is roughly a 20 minute walk from the apartment and is dubbed the hipster area of Birmingham, littered with independent bars and restaurants and home to the famous street food Digbeth Dining Club.
