For the more adventurous, there is canoeing/rafting available at either Ruffec (approx. 10 minutes) or Mansle (approx. 20 minutes), or why not take the children for a day out a Futurescope in Poitiers (approx. 1 hour) – a different kind of leisure park experience for all the family! Visit the Atlantic coast with its truly wonderful beaches - treat yourselves to a visit to one of the many quayside restaurants or café’s at the beautiful port of La Rochelle or Royan. Angoulemé with its striking architecture, world famous annual comic strip festival, car race and its many shops and restaurants is only 30 minutes away.
