South of Chalon Sur Saône, not far from the Vineyards of Burgundy, your charming holiday home awaits. Saint Cyr is a pretty village will houses built of local stone. The house is hidden behind the church with access to open country. New for 2021, fibre internet connection! Please note that we do not accept animals. The church clock and bird song make up the soundtrack to your stay. The house is cool in summer, warm in winter with an open fireplace for your use. Oak beams and thick stone walls give the house a rustic character typical of the region. Entire house and access to the garden, garden furniture and plancha. Parking for 5 cars. Our home is in the same building, but completely separate. The new terrace at the back of the house is perfect for summer meals and afternoons in the shade. Your host family is bilngual and can help you plan your time in Burgundy. Calm neighbourhood in a charming country village. Walking, cycling country. Wine tasting in local vineyards. Museums and excellent restaurants in Chalon Sur Saone and Tournus. A great place to base your holiday, Lyon, Geneva and the Jura are accessible day trips. Accessible by car, or bike. Local train stations 15 km away. The house has plenty of parking space. We are not far from Chalon Sur Saône and an hour by car or train from Lyon and Dijon. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a beautiful lake where you can picnic, paddle and pedalo in the summer.
