Modern apartment in the mountains with sauna

A renovated apartment in a chalet. A bright kitchen and modern wood fireplace have been installed to make this a stunning, relaxed and cosy self-contained holiday escape within a family chalet. It's 60m2 and has garden access. Dec 2021 - New sauna installed! A classy, spacious sauna with lovely views. Access directly from the back of the apartment. The double bedroom has a balcony with the forest on one side and mountain view on the other, while the lounge opens onto the garden. There is a comfy sofa bed in the lounge that pulls out into a comfortable double bed. The fitted kitchen is complete with all the home comforts (dishwasher, cafe machine, jug, toaster, fridge/freezer, oven, washing machine/dryer etc). The cupboards are stocked with the basics (milk, butter, juice, tea, cafe, par-baked bread, pasta and sauce to make your arrival hassle free). A large TV with >100 TV stations (French, German, English, Italian). There is wifi and it's children friendly (baby cot available). We have sleds and snowshoes (raquettes) available and forest access just out your door. It is on the Suisse walking route 5. This is a family home so the occasional child noises are to be expected. Ideal for a mountain break, to relax and enjoy the air of the Jura. Plenty of space for storing ski equipment. In the summer, there are tennis courts in town that you can access free of charge. We have raquettes and balls to share. The apartment is fully contained with it's own private entrance. Plenty of space for parking. The village with restaurants and shops is a 8 min walk away. I work from home so I'm often about to help out with questions and inquiries. A locations for all seasons: •In the winter you look across to the ski slopes of St-Cergue, with the mountains behind. The cross country skiing piste start 200m behind the chalet and La Dole ski station is a 20min drive and there is beginner/intermediate skiing in the village. •In spring the views above the clouds are magnificent as the flowers wake up. •In the summer there is a world of hikes to explore the forests and countryside all around. •In autumn the forest is ablaze with colours and treasures Driving: Nyon is 20min, Geneva is 40mins and Lausanne is 45mins. Train: the train into central Geneva is 52mins. The chalet is a 10min walk up from the train station (we are more than happy to pick you up!) English, French and German spoken. Children under 12 year are free. Holiday tax (taxe de sejour) is included.
