Study Farm Cottage - Sleeps 2 - Scenic location

The cottage which dates from 1845, is situated in Bonsall village, high above the wooded 'Via Gellia' gorge. Matlock Bath is 2 miles by car or a scenic walk through woodland. Superb walks from the door to the limestone moors above. Within easy driving distance of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Arkrights Mills. Crich Tramway Museum, Carsington Water, Gullivers Kingdom and Alton Towers theme and water parks Bonsall has two pubs a Tea Room and small shop and deli a few minutes walk from the property. The cottage is newly renovated but retains some charming original features like the fireplace and arched windows. You have a private patio area and large shared car park. There is a full kitchen including oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Large living/dining room. Double bed in bedroom. Large bathroom with shower over full sized bath. The whole cottage and patio area is for guests private use. Car parking at the door. I live around the corner, in case you need me during your stay, but give you complete privacy. I am available before and throughout your stay for any help or advice you may need. The cottage is at the top of a private drive in a peaceful location with gorgeous views. There is a Tea Room and small shop and deli at the bottom of the drive, a 2 minute walk away. There are two pubs in the village within 5 - 10 minute from the cottage. They both serve home cooked food and real ales. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive. The local bus service takes you into Matlock from there you can travel further afield. The nearest train station is at Cromford. You will share the large car park with the occupants of Study Farm Barn
