Stone annex, New Mills, High Peak, Peak District

Quaint and charming stone studio annex that can sleep two. The annex formally the wash house in the early part of the last century sits at the back of our garden with its own private entrance. Positioned in New Mills, on the edge of the Peak District, in close proximity to the Sett Valley trail, Torrs Millenium Walk and Lantern Pike. Ideal for walking, running, or restful breaks. The space is suitable for couples and solo adventurers. We have also welcomed a few babies and small toddlers over the years. The property is ideal for walkers, runners or relaxers, within easy access to the Sett Valley, Peak District, New Mills Torrs and Lantern Pike. There are a variety of leaflets and maps of the suggested trails available in the apartment. Advice is also available should you fancy visiting Kinder Scout or Lantern Pike. 1 bed studio, private entrance, opening up to a 3 seater sofa and coffee table. A wall mounted TV with inbuilt DVD player and a good selection of DVDs are provided. The TV has a swinging bracket so may be watched in bed or Sofa. On one side of the room is a kitchenette with fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. The apartment includes a private bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are there for your use. Exterior: a raised stone area with a small table and chairs (stored in annex) perfect for drinks in the evening or breakfast in the sun. Parking at the side of the property within meters of annex. Check in is from 2pm on the day of arrival. We operate self-check in therefore there will be minimal interaction with the guests unless guests have any questions or require our assistance. We are always a Whats App message or telephone call away though, and always ready with recommendations on the local area. We will use the side entrance to the house to allow guests full private use of the garden. The center of New Mills is 10-15 minute walk away depending if you're walking up hill or down. The center has all amenities such as Sainsburys, Boots, The Crispy Cod Chippy, a good Indian restaurant, a new Sicilian restaurant (opening Summer 2021), Local Pubs and Transport Links (two train lines and bus stops). New Mills has two train stations. We have many pubs close to us which provide great home cooked food. There’s also a very good Indian and Italian restaurant in the town.
