A beautiful boutique cottage finished to an exceptional standard with stunning island views. Located on the edge of the picturesque village of Lamlash. This property provides first class accommodation for anyone wishing to visit the Isle of Arran. Queensferry Cottage is part of an 120 year-old row of estate workers' cottages. It is fully refurbished to the highest standard demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. It offers a boutique holiday experience. The main garden is to the front of the property and faces south east. It provides space for off-road parking and a sitting/BBQ area. The cottage is quiet, comfy and welcoming. Entering into an open-plan and spacious ground floor comprising a combined lounge, kitchen with stylish fitted units and integrated appliances, and adjacent dining area. A short hallway leads to the main bathroom which contains a bath and shower. An Italian designer staircase situated within a double height lightwell leads to the second floor which comprises a twin bedroom and a double bedroom with en suite toilet. This accommodation comfortably sleeps four. Queensferry Cottage is close to all local amenities for example 5 minute walk from a supermarket, beach, bar and gym. I follow Airbnb and Visit Scotland's enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitise high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines Guests have use of the entire cottage. Peaceful and secluded, Lamlash is situated on a beautiful bay that is dominated by the spectacular Holy Isle and is just 3 miles from the Island ferry terminal in Brodick. The village is well served with numerous local amenities including bars, restaurants, beaches, tennis courts, one of the Island's 7 golf courses and a gym. Lamlash also contains a range of shops including a pharmacy and a supermarket. In case of emergencies there is a Health Centre and the Island's Hospital with an A & E department. For the more adventurous Lamlash affords easy access to a number of the Island's walking and cycling routes and in addition the Holy Isle is accessible by a short ferry trip during the summer months. The Island bus service passes Queensferry Cottage and the nearest stop is only a few metres away. The bus service is synchronised with the ferry timetable, the number 323 bus will have you in Lamlash in less than 20 min. The A841, the main road which circles the Island, passes through Lamlash in addition, the Ross road, one of Arran's two additional roads which bisect the Island, begins/ends in Lamlash. No pets. No smoking. Queensferry Cottage is ideally situated for those participating in one of the numerous sporting events that take place on Arran including the Grinduro, the triathlon, the rowing regatta and open water swimming events.
