B&B with 2 bedrooms + breakfastroom

Located in the west-wing of our house in De Wilgen (outlaying Drachten) we furnished 2 B&B rooms. Our location is a perfect spot for professionals with temporary work around Drachten or Heerenveen. For nature lovers too we offer a perfect shelter. Accessible by stairs, the 2 B&B rooms are on the first floor. On the ground floor the guest-lounge/breakfast-room is overlooking the beautiful countryside. From the sofa you can look at grazing sheep and - with some luck - you can spot deer and birds of prey on our own plot. In case of nice weather, breakfast can be served on the guest terrace (day around sun). During spring and summer season this is a great spot for a glass of wine in the evening sun too. Sauna-fitness facilities in the basement: € 25 per evening. Our location is a perfect base for a tourist visit of Drachten, Leeuwarden, Groningen or one of the 4 Frisian "Wadden-islands'. The bedrooms and breakfast room are accessed via a private entrance of the west-wing of our house. Thanks to the facilities we can surely accept 4 guests. On demand bedroom 2 can be extended with a - next door - extra bedroom, suitable for 1 adult or 2 children (extra charge € 25 per person per night) Our guests can sit on the guest-terrace (where - in case of good weather - the breakfast can be served). There is a parking place for 5 cars on our own plot. You can store your bicycle safely in your own shelter, where you can load the battery of your bicycle too. In the we have a sauna with fitness equipment, which you can rent for € 25 per morning/afternoon/evening. As the owner has been born in this region he is gladly prepared to give you information for sightseeing, theatres, museums, bike trails, etc. Every morning we serve a first class breakfast, if possible with local Frisian food. The house is located in De Wilgen, next to Drachten and has been built in a very rural area. Our property stands on a lot of 1.6 hectares. A portion of the lot used as a pasture where sheep run regularly. In addition, we see several days a week deer and birds of prey on our site. Drachten has about 50,000 inhabitants; here you will find obviously many restaurants. Closer, 400 meters of our house is the boundary of the villages De Wilgen and Boornbergum. In the latter village you can have your diner exclusively in restaurant Spijshuys. Also in the village of De Veenhoop (to the west) at restaurant "It Polderhûs" you are presented with an excellent menu. Apart from some small roads, the village of De Wilgen actually is a ribbon development: On the south of this street, Drachtster Heawei, you will find our B&B by driving into a 200 meter long paved path, running in between the addresses 25 and 27a. As a matter of fact you will drive from the village into the country side. We have north / east / south / west no neighbors in sight.
