Pearly Sands - Beachfront
Forget your daily hustle and bustle, but listen to the rustle of the palm leaves and let your toes smoothly sink into the soft sand... Pearly Sands is nestled in a quiet and cozy bay in Roches Noires, along the untouched northeastern coast. Overlooking the splendid lagoon, the apartment is elegant and welcoming - the ideal place for the tranquil and relaxing holiday you deserve. Check out our YouTube video: "Pearly Sands - Deluxe Beachfront Apartment" As you walk through the front door, you step into the spacious living room with a large sofa facing the TV, a chaise lounge for reading or napping, and a desk. The living space leads into the dining and sitting areas, which offer a wide perspective of the beach and lagoon ahead - the perfect spot for your morning coffee or your evening cocktails. The kitchen is fully equipped with all tableware and cookware, as well as an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, a toaster, a microwave oven, a kettle, a Nespresso machine... The 3 bedrooms (1 en suite, and 2 sharing a bathroom) each have a wardrobe to store your clothes in, and fine bedding to snuggle up with. The room-darkening shades, and the air-conditioning and/or ceiling fan make it ideal to sleep in comfortably every morning. Check out our YouTube video: "Pearly Sands - Deluxe Apartment" Situated on the first floor, the apartment offers a nice view of the beach and the warm tropical waters below, as well a nice garden with coconut trees. Head to the beach for a game of volleyball, or soak up the sun on the beach loungers. Living only twenty minutes from Roches Noires, we are often available to offer help to our guests throughout their stay. Otherwise, the lovely housekeeper is always willing to help when she can. One of the few undisturbed coastal regions left in Mauritius, Roches Noires is calm and welcoming. The apartment sits on the coastal road, which separates the crystal-blue lagoon from the untouched vegetation. From the comfort of the living room overlooking the still shores, watch the sun rays flicker through the palm leaves, listen to the morning melodies of the local birds and feel the soft air caress your face. Public transport is not the most reliable or comfortable way to travel in Mauritius. We suggest that you rent a vehicle to explore the island. There is a dedicated private parking spot (No.4) available for your vehicle on the premises. We can recommend a rental company if you wish. Less than 10 minutes by car, Riviere du Rempart is a small town where you can do your grocery shopping. The "Riverside" shopping centre has a "Winners" supermarket, a pharmacy, some fast food outlets and a few other stores. Flacq (15-20 minutes by car) is one of the larger towns in the East. There is a mall there with a large supermarket called "Super U" where you can find almost everything, a few fast food restaurants, some shops and a cinema. Grand Bay (20-25 minutes by car) is one of the more touristic places on the island. This busy coastal town has many restaurants and a great night life. It is also the ideal place for souvenir shopping. Brama, our housekeeper, works three times per week from 9:00 to 13:00, at no extra cost. She will do the cleaning, washing and ironing to ensure you can relax and enjoy your holiday. If you are satisfied with her service during your stay, it is customary to leave a tip for her. If she has time and depending on her duties on the day, she may be able to cook a local dish (to be confirmed).
